Where in the World is Andrew Wilson?

Just curious as to where Andrew disappeared? Has anyone picked him up? Or, was he that bad that no one wanted him and he was waived?

I think it was posted that he was sent home. To my knowledge, no team has picked him up on waivers as of yet. Too bad, he was a really nice kid, and was a great embassador to the community for the hockey club.

I personally did not think he was that bad as a defenseman to send packing. I understand , room has to be made for the young guys to learn, but thought it was handled a bit poorly. (that is just my opinion though)

There are all nice kids(men) some one had to be sent packing via trade or waivers as there was a log jam on D,I think he was the low man on the totum pole,I kinda wish he would of found a team to play for,but what Wilson dosn't bring is offence or tuffness but what he brings is a good stay home Dman that takes care in he own end which I stated which we could use. Hope he finds a team.

I have heard Andrew is alive and well living at home in Cayuga.
I heard Andrew went to the coach and because he loves hockey, asked to be played, traded or released.
He went home on his own and was not sent home.
He is currently playing defense for the Brantford Golden Eagles a Junior B club
In seven games he has 2 goals, 3 assists, 1 game winning goal and is getting lots of ice time.
I am told he is happy to be playing and making a contribution.
I hope this helps those who were wondering about him.

Thanks popbottle! I was hoping something would work out for him. He was not a bad defenceman, just didn't jump out at you with size, tenacity or scoring skills. He was in a difficult spot with the Gens rebuilding, being a last year player. Good luck to him!
