we might be getting jenner back sooner than expected. get a game misconduct for charging in todays game, and its assumed he'll get a suspension. from what was said on tv the roster had to be submitted before the IIHF meets on the details of the hit.. so if team canada thinks it will be a long suspension they may send jenner home and not name him on the final roster..... not good for boone

Boone can be a little overly aggressive at times and it's hard to not finish your check when you have someone lined up in your sights. It's a matter of a 'split second'! I would have thought after that first game that Spott would have layed down the law to the boys about taking penalties but they still took way too many in the second game. Reminds me of last year's Gennies! Spent half the game killing penalties exhausting our players on the PK!

An open ice hit,maybe a couple seconds after the puck release,5 minute at most but not a suspension,but Booner has a would juniors past hit on Matta didn't result in a suspension but the little jab against the russian got him a game,so even I don't agree but he is going to get susspended over this one, my only ? is can he make the Gen's game for the 28th

if he is suspended there I don't think he can play here. same thing as Noosen only in reverse.

Not sure that's right but don't know where to check that out. I don't think the suspension, if ever handed out , would be more than 2-3 games anyway.

Look for Boone to get a one game suspension.

Suspension is expected to be handed down before the roster deadline, which is good for Boone.

From there I thought IIHF suspensions carried over, meaning even if he served it in the OHL he would still have to sit out whatever the next tournament he is elligible for (# of games not full tourny).
