The last time this board was clamouring for a goalie, we sold the farm for Neuvirth. Look how that turned out. They might as well have gone for it with the goalies they had. Trading for a goalie is simply too high-risk.
Neuvirth's play has shown what he could have done. I didn't like the results but there is still that lingering thought if he had not been injured (either before or after he came here) what might have been.
I do think this year is different though. A trade for a goaltender would have to be giving up nothing important for next year's team. I don't think that is realistic. Perhaps Baille can do it.
My vote is keep Dehann and have a little playoff run (or maybe more).

totally agree was at the game on thursday and over heard someone talking about getting a good if not top tender you would have to trade de Haan plus someone most wouldnt like to see gone with that said they brought up jenner or thomas but the only way de Haan is going is like J.T and asking to leave to a team that will go far

Hypothetically speaking, we wait while Kingston makes their run for it this year and wait form them to fall "splat" on their faces. They go into next year into a re-build mode and trade Grubauer to the Gens as an overager! Just don't give too much for him, although the asking price might be high.

Bailie's played 11 games and has the 8th best GAA in the league (although lower on the save percentage). He looks to be improving.
December stats after 2 games: 2-0-0, 1.93 GAA, 0.938 save pct.%
Let's give him some more time. Zador had a big run of consecutive starts early in the year and Bailie (like any goalie who starts the season as a backup) needed a few games to get in the groove and is just starting to find his form.

Hope you're right. I think he has the most potential of the two. He makes me nervous with his puickhandling outside the crease, however.
