Calvin is one of 3 returnees to my understanding. It would be nice to see him with an A out there.

Who really cares if he wears a letter, just lets hope he makes it. Returning player doesn't mean he is on the team. There are 12 defencemen invited to camp to 'tryout'.
Show them you belong Calvin!!

It would be nice was all. I know he's not a shoe in. That said there is very few returnees and you would think that as long as the players worked hard last year and haven't taken steps backwards that he has a good shot.

Interesting story developing in Boston.
Tyler Sequin to Team Canada is a real possibility.
The Bruins are up against the cap and this would offer then a small ammount of relief.

That would be nice to add a player like Seguin, Canada's pool has Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic and Norway. We will have a tough round robin, we can use all the help we can get. BTW congrats Calvin!

Last chance to see Calvin at home comes Sunday, before he heads off to the World Junior Selection camp on the 12th. I assume he will play in Belleville, and possibly mississauga

Re: Team Canada 2011 - Congrats to Calvin
It sounds like Calvin has nailed down a spot on Team Canada. TSN says that players who have locked down a spot will be given tonight off, and that de Haan is not expected to play tonight. Guess we'll know tomorrow for sure.

Nino will be worth the price of admission alone. If you'll remember he was quite the little pest in last years tournament.
