Generals @ Battalion
Game is gonna be in HD for those with the Action Pak.
Games like this are super important to us, we don't need many more wins before we can start talk about clinching home ice. Beating Brampton and Sudbury will go along way to home ice, and will clinch us a playoff spot.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
Anyone else heading down to this game like I am? Hoping for a good game, with the chance for the Gens to up their current winning streak to 4 games. Labardo and Sabourin can return to the lineup.
The Gens should have had both points in regulation in their last visit to the Bunker, so hopefully that's what we get on Thursday night. It will feel different to have played more games than the 67's for a change. Even though the Gens will have played one more game, it would sure be nice to be within 2 points of the division lead.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
If the Gens are not ready to play a 60 min game the brampton will win, and they have motive as this is Stan Butlers 1000 game coaching and I'm sure they will be playing hard to get that win for Stan achivement in coaching.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
I just read that as well, Brampton is gonna do whatever they have to do to win tonight. I'm excited now for what should be an amazing game, so long as we go in prepared for a fight.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
The guys did not play 60 minutes of hockey and took too many stupid penalties once again.
Brampton was beating us to the puck most of the night. They wanted this win more than the Gens did and it showed.
Time to wake up boys as you need to play better in Sudbury or you will come back with 0 points in two games.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
I wasted $10 and gas to watch this game. We were invisible. Berger, Jensen, Jenner (scored but did not even notice him out there), Andreoff, even Thomas looked like they were disinterested in being there. Our best player was Dehart IMHO. Maggio continues to be in the 'not impressed' category.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
Not having seen the game, I'm presuming this was another "solid game only to be defeated by a hot goaltender". And, again, still, the ongoing cheap slashing penalties.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
I guess my opinion of the game was different. I thought the announcer on the TV nailed it on the head. All the bounces were going Brampton's way.
Watching the game on the TV....the bounces off the boards, goalie, blocked shots went to a Brampton player, they didn't have to work very hard for any plays. No matter where the Brampton skater moved and no matter what happened the puck was on their stick.
The harder the Gens tried pick up the play ...the worse it looked.
I agree, some bad penalties were taken, the discipline needs to be improved. I think some was frustration too.(not saying it is right....just outletting the frustration in the wrong place)

Re: Generals @ Battalion
This team has had several issues, over the last couple of seasons, in need of correction, that were successfully addressed...... But they can whine about the refs all they want. The fact remains, the only category in which they lead, is in stupid penalties. Correct that boys and enjoy the results. GO GENS GO!!!!!!

First round exit if we keep up the stupid penalties. Here's hoping we or Peterborough clinch us a playoff spot tonight.

Re: Generals @ Battalion
I agree archer_gens.
Those stupid penalties and lack of discipline will cost us dearly in the playoffs.
There definitely was no motivation with the guys last night.
The bench bosses showed no emotion and I guess it filtered down to the guys.
Need a big attitude adjustment if they want to go further in the playoffs than the first round.
