Game 4- Oshawa Generals @ Kingston Frontenacs
Kingston will be playing for their lives in this game.
Hopefully our Gens can pull out a win and sweep the Fronts on their ice.
One can only wonder what will happen on the ice if the Gens do win; the zebras must be ready for any of the Kingston goon shenaningons. Suspension are not what we need at this time of year.
Should be a great Generals fan contiingent in Kingston for this exciting game.

Not only would we have to worry about the Kingston players on the ice if we win; the Kingston crowd could get quite rough as was apparent last Friday night in Kingston.

I agree Kingston will be throwing everything, including the kitchen sink at us Tuesday night. This team needs to stay disciplined and outwork the Fronts. I truly think this team can make it happent.

Re: Game 4- Oshawa Generals @ Kingston Frontenacs
Kingston has to play desperately tomorrow night if they want to continue their season. Remember back to the playoffs in 2007? It was the same (4) Oshawa vs. (5) Kingston match-up, Gens were also up 3-0 in the series with game 4 also in Kingston. Gens lost 8-2 that night. This time around though, it would be nice to be done tomorrow and close out the series in their barn...should the Gens be able to do that and if one of the other match-ups goes 6 or 7 games, you'd be looking at about a week off before the next round began.

Re: Game 4- Oshawa Generals @ Kingston Frontenacs
Not only did they lose, they were outplayed, outhustled and outworked. I'm glad we didn't play Sudbury, they are looking very good. Mrazek kept the 67s in it. After two periods, the score was tied but the Wolves were outshooting them 33-13. Final shots were 53-18. Sudbury was all over them. They seemed to have the 67s pinned in their own zone for the whole 3rd period. Ottawa's goal in that period was against the run of play, a short-handed breakaway.
The Wolves are looking good enough that they would give Mississauga a pretty tough series if they can get by Ottawa.

The only player they are missing is Gibson,so I really wouldn't call Ottawa missing key players, the others may not be 100%, they are just getting out worked by Sudbury.

Frontenacs facing must-win situation
By DOUG GRAHAM, THE WHIG-STANDARD
Posted 3 hours ago
The Kingston Frontenacs are looking for a victory, not sympathy, in their Ontario Hockey League playoff plight, which sees them on the verge of elimination.
Coach Doug Gilmour said the 3-0 hole his club is in against the Oshawa Generals obviously puts the Frontenacs in a dire position.
"I know it's not an easy way to come out of of this now but I don't want to see anybody in (the dressing room) just packing up and going home because it is not over," Gilmour said.
"Are we in bad? Yes we are but it's not over until the fourth (win by Oshawa). You've got to win four games."
The Generals have their first crack at advancing on to the semifinals Tuesday night (7 p.m.) in Game 4 at the K-Rock Centre.
It is a Kingston team which is hurting with regular season starting goaltender Philipp Grubauer (mononucleosis) and beleaguered rookie Franky Palazzese (hip flexor) both sidelined.
Also Nathan Moon, the team's second-leading scorer, is still hampered by the high ankle injury he sustained on March 3. Gilmour said Moon was able to skate better in Sunday's Game 3 in Oshawa and at Monday's practice. Moon has one assist in the seven periods he has been able to play in the playoffs.
But time, is neither on Moon or the Frontenacs' side with Oshawa on the verge of a sweep of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal.
"There is nothing we can do but keep working and keep fighting," Gilmour said.
"Going into the start of the season, with the kind of team we built and stuff and losing guys at different times of the year, we don't have control of that. That's the biggest thing," he said.

Perhaps Dougie should focus on guiding his team rather than doing interviews in between periods.

Actually up until yesterday they were missing prince who is a kay player for the 67s alaso gibbons is the top defenceman for that team..so injuries has played a part in why they are being out worked also sudbury has been a great team in the last half of the season

Well - the brooms are in the closet - Terrible effort
We let them back in it - didn't think we played that well Sunday and worse
tonight - rookie team thinking it will be easy - let's hope they learned a
lesson for Friday or it could go 7

Yes it could be worse could be down 3-0. Any word on valentine or disalvo? Only good news is that we played better in the second half and kept fighting. First 10 minutes could be huge friday.

Re: Game 4- Oshawa Generals @ Kingston Frontenacs
Valentine was hurt in game 3,with what kind of injury im not sure and as for disalvo,he left in the 2nd period, had to helped of the ice and did not return,he did'nt even return to sit on the bench.I think the injury to disalvo was his groin, but i could be mistaken.
