Gens Versus 67's
Well our team has a big game tonight. Typically our Friday night games have been less than stellar. Here is to hoping our team gets off to a great start and does not let up. Let's go Gens!!!

Generals win 5-3. I thought Boone Jenner had a great game tonight

I don't know if that was sarcastic or not. I didn't like the 3 minor penalties he took. But overall he played hard and was rewarded on the scoresheet.

Re: Gens Versus 67's
Problem is that to many penalties will not always equal a win. I'm gonna admit I missed alot of the game and just caught parts, but there is such a thing as good penalties. Were they dumb penalties or good ones? theres a big difference.
As far as I'm concerned the Gens can take 10 penalties in a game if they are all good ones, but if they are stupid penalties it's not worth it and needs to be worked on.
Gens must win Tonight or Sudbury can win Tuesday and move us into 9th. I'm glad I'm not a betting man cause I'd have bet everything I own that the Gens wouldn't be in 9th at the start of December.

Re: Gens Versus 67's
It looks like Sudbury will have extra games for a while. 6 after our game this afternoon with Belleville, 5 after they play on Tuesday. Looking ahead, it's still 4 games in hand after the Christmas break. We play them twice more, once next month and once in January, so we wouldn't want to give them points knowing they still have 4 extra games to play.
In the end, the Gens can only look after what they can control and they know how important it is to win as many of their remaining games as they can. At least the conference is still close. Hoping for the perfect result today, which most would probably agree is the Gens and Kingston winning...that would take care of the Bulls and 67's, and with help from the western conference the rest of the way, it would be great for the Gens to go to 28 pts and have everyone else above them stay the same.
