Gens at 67's
Last time the boys were in the nations capital they came out with a very strong first period but couldn't get much going after that and paid for it. Need a full 60 tonight. Wonder which tender will get the start. We currently sit 1 point behind Missy and Peterborough. Missy play 3 in 3 this weekend and all of them are tough games. They play Barrie tonight at home then go on the road saturday against London and finish at Windsor sunday. Peterborough are in Kingston tonight and home to Sudbury tomorrow. Hopefully by the end of the weekend we sit 6th in the conference Anybody got any news on JP? still a few weeks away from returning? GO GENS!!!!!

Re: Gens at 67's
I would think JP is still a while away but thats just a complete guess. Gens need to win against teams like Ottawa so that they can at least compete in the playoffs. Getting blown out by these teams does nothing for the confidence of the team.
Should be a good game as long as the Gens show up to play.

You can't trade your first round pic (dunno if that was sarcasm or curiousity).
It's not over yet. Big games coming up still against Peterborough Mississauga and Belleville.

Re: Gens at 67's
This team has a PP that deserves to be 21st in a 20 team league.... We should just take even-up penalties to give us a better chance at generating offence.

i agree the pp has been pretty bad the past couple of games it's always the same thing they on every pp and maybe the coach should try putting clark on the pp at least he can hit at least unlike thomas half the time with his one timer's just saying

Re: Gens at 67's
Take Christian off the point, but a second damn with a decent hard shot like Colin or mag out there. Prob is gens have had the same pp forever, everyone knows get the puck to Christian who's going to shoot from the left face off circle.
Jp said at the dinner he'd be out a few more weeks but starting practicing this week again.
This season is going to come down to the wire like a few years ago, when a shoot out win by the battalion cost the gens the playoffs- they missed out by one point that year.

When Petgrave and another d-man were out during a few PP chances I thought it looked much better. I agree Thomas up front or off the PP. He was there for his shot but we have d-men capable of doing that now.
