Gen's are surrounding them selfs with good hockey people and proof is the hiring of Paul McFarland Very Happy

This is from Oshawa site:

The Oshawa Generals are pleased to announce the hiring of new Assistant Coach Paul McFarland.
General Manager Jeff Twohey commented, “Paul is a former player in the OHL that brought consistent leadership and a consistent work ethic on and off the ice. His knowledge of the OHL, current hockey systems and his passion and commitment, make him a perfect complement to our current coaching staff. He's a bright young coach and we look forward to making him part of our team.”
McFarland spent four seasons as a player in the Ontario Hockey League, beginning with the Kitchener Rangers in the 2002-2003 season. He then joined the Windsor Spitfires during the 2004-2005 season where he finished his OHL career. After the OHL, McFarland attended Acadia University and played four seasons while earning his Bachelor of Business Administration.

McFarland distinguished himself at every level of hockey he played, serving as Team Captain for the Windsor Spitfires during the 2005-2006 season and Acadia University from 2007 to 2010. He won a Memorial Cup with the Kitchener Rangers in 2003 and was named for various awards throughout his playing career. Notably, he was honoured by Acadia University Hockey by having an award named after him. The Paul McFarland Award is given for leadership and development in Acadia hockey.

Don't know much about McFarland; remember him as a player with the Rangers and his bio looks impressive. First impressions...a good hire!
