Brett Hargrave and Mike Dipaolo
Both (F) Brett Hargrave and (D) Mike Dipalolo have left the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club.
Brett Hargrave is a former 1st round pick 13th overall in 2012. Last season he had 6 goals and 5 assists for 11 points in 63 games, playing rather sparingly. This season he had 1 goal and 3 assists in 9 games before left the club. He's a 6'4 206lbs 17 year old who is NHL draft eligible this season. He reminds me a lot of Nick & Brett Ritchie. This kid has a lot of potential and I really feel like the Generals should look into acquiring this kid. Look what DJ Smith has done with Hunter Smith, could you imagine what he'd do with Hargrave.
As far as Dipalolo goes he's a 6'4 210lbs 1994 born defensive defenseman who loves the rough stuff. He was a 4th round pick in 2010. He has little to no offensive ability but he would be a solid 7th defensemen for a young team who doesn't have a real heavyweight. Not saying we need a heavyweight, but this kid is pretty solid defensively, and would be a great depth guy.
Hargrave will cost a little bit, maybe a younger prospect like Owen McDade or some one along those lines. They could have interest in acquiring Matt Hore since his brother Tyler is there. Or even Aiden Wallace. Dipaolo will come a lot cheaper an I think he could be had for a pick in the 8th to 13th round.
Maybe McDade, Hore, 8th Round in 2014 and a conditional pick of some sort.
An before anyone jumps down my throat for suggesting this. Yes Im extremely happy with the Generals start, and a move is not needed and very well could mess with the chemistry, but I feel its worth looking into.

I like your thinking, Macker88. As you point out, adds size and potential in Hargrave and you should get an overage year out of Diapolo. If I were Twohey, I would go for it. The cost should be around what you are suggesting,

Re: Brett Hargrave and Mike Dipaolo
From what I'm hearing it is likely that at least Hargrave will be moved to one of Belleville, Ottawa or Oshawa.
Kingston seems to be out, there likely saving their assets for a bigger deal closer to or at the trade deadline. Also Hargrave wants top 6 minutes.. He won't get them in Kingston, an thus likely would decline a trade there or simply not report, as I don't believe players can decline trades in Junior.
Word I'm hearing from around Peterborough is they also like Hargrave but are likely to stay out of the running as they have a few players already in a similar mould, an would like to acquire some more speed, veteran leadership, an offensive ability.
Dark horse here is Niagara and Mississuaga.
Yes Niagara, they have surprisingly been pretty good off that bat. A mix of Hargrave, Perlini, Maletta, Verhagie and DiFruscia could be scary good in just a years time, an that may be Niagara's idea in making a run at Hargrave.
Mississauga also has a young up an coming core with Josh Burnside, Bryson Cianfrone, Everett Clark, Damian Bourne, Jered Walsh, Trevor Carrick, Spencer Martin and of course Sean Day. Mississuaga may also look at a trade like this in the same view as Niagara.
I'd love to see both Hargrave and Dipaolo in Generals uniforms, I think if Hargrave pans out, it really gives the Gens a shot at the East Title.
Hargrave - Laughton - Cassels
Dal Colle - Sterk - Smith
Dundas - Hughes - Latour
Busch - Harding - Manchurek

(F) Brett Hargrave and (D) Mike Dipalolo has left the Sting and now (F)Jordan Addesi has left
this seems to happen every year in Sarnia I would be very happy if the Gens could get any 1 or all 3 of those players
