I thought he looked liked one of the better draft picks at the orientation camp this year.

Re: Gen's sign Domenic Commisso
Good signing, knew he'd push for a spot this year after seeing him play several times in the GTHL, but I really wonder how much ice time he's gonna see this season. Can't help but think he'd be more successful developing as a bigger part of an OPJAHL team.
Projected 14/15 Roster
Dal Colle - Cassels - Smith
Latour - Harding - Sterk
Wallace - Pu - Lindberg**
Dundas*- Busch - Turner
X's - Manchurerk, McDade
Potential Rookies - Commisso & Senecal
Brown*- Vande Sompel
Petschenig - Hertzberg**
Desrocher - Carlisle*
Templeton - Robertson
Potential Rookies - Shackleton
I mean you have to assume, Dundas will probably be the first OA moved or let go. Pu and Harding could switch spots on my projected depth chart, making the 3rd line a true checking line. But other then maybe Turner, every guy in that lineup has earned his spot as an OHL regular. Even the guys I have as extras played roles with the team last year. An with Chase Pearson possibly coming in, where will this kid play. If you suggest trading our depth players, they have no real value. Dundas offers no value as a 4th line OA. To me I like his game when he's got his head on straight, but as far as value it's limited. Manchurek & McDade where in an out of the lineup, an you'd get at most a 9-10th round pick. Turner just signed so he won't be moved or released. Busch is the only one you'd get maybe a top 175 pick for. We have a log jam in the bottom 3 in reality.

If Chase Pearson were to sign, he could replace Dundas or Wallace or drop both and make room for McDade as well.

Don't agree with dropping Wallace over McDade? Wallace is very useful, puts in great effort, kills penalties can win faceoffs and is much much more effective than McDade. I know McDade has not had a lot of ice but when he does other than a few fights he is invisible. He has not shown he can play in this league at all in my opinion. Wallace plays his role nicely.

Don't dislike Wallace. just that he doesn't bring much other than energy for a last year player. I agree with what you said but McDade is a year younger and has more potential to give over the next 2-3 years.
