Gens at Fronts Tues Dec.30th

Hey Gang,

If anyone has any helpful info on the Kingston area i'd love to hear it. Anything from best parking near the rink to restos nearby or where you've sat in the arena. Will probably be heading down there tomorrow. Go GENS!!!

Lots of restaurant choices in downtown area. Parking lot right beside arena but heard it is going to be a condo sooner than later. Downtown Kingston is pretty nice compared to our Shwa. Many restaurant choices though. Lonestar not far from arena.

Not near the arena, but Teddys is easily my favourite. City prking lot half a block to the west and a parking garage one block north and as stated above, paid parking all around the arena..

There was no excuse for the loss yesterday even though we played good enough to win and Brodeur had a real good game, we had all regulars on the team, Kingston had 3-4 regulars out, oh well this game we probably deserved to win but the Pete's game we deserved to lose. Sun always rises in the morning and it's a new day

I think the 20 pts lead is starting to affect us. Not saying the boys are packing it in. But the last two games, we're being outplayed in a sense. Fronts and Petes are fighting for spots snd we basically can't move anywhere (for the time being). They did run into a hot goalie last night, but we got the fire power to overcome.
Did anyone else watch the game on tv. The announcers kept saying the brown hit was to the head, I watched the replay 10 times and I think it was shoulder hit and Browns arm carried through.
This could be an interesting month coming up for the gens. Trade deadlines coming up, some players might be worried of roster spots or being traded. Team can't move up the standings, going through the motions for now. Problem is there is still half a season to go

LX i too watched the game and the announcers were certainly calling for a major penalty good thing the Refs don't hear them lol.

one thing thing that has to change is there preparation to play teams good or bad, everyone is now getting up to play the best team in the league and they have to respond with even more determination.

Dal Colle as good as he is offensively he has to pick up his defensive game and not float after loosing the zone. he is not in my opinion a complete player and another comment he has to distribute the puck more he can't try and do it all he has line mates use them. he must have tried 2 or 3 times last night to get in a scoring position buy handling the stick with one hand when surrounded by Fonts and losing the puck. Nice player but tries to do to much on his own.

They better be ready for NB tomorrow because we know NB will be.

omg guys relax, they cant win every game. And we didn't ice a full lineup either, Will P. is still out and we did out shoot them and had a chance to win.

I think a lot of people are missing that Paul McFarland knows the Generals inside out, from systems to most of the players and coaching staff. Its an advantage for him and his team for sure. I sure didn't like when I heard he was leaving and going to be the head coach of an east team that is pretty talented. Once Bennett comes back I sure don't want to face the Fronts.

And every other team are going to bring their "A" when playing the Gens this year. They are not going to win every game. My thoughts are trying to keep the team fresh and ready for a long playoff run is preferable. I would hate to see them win every game but loose steam in the Playoffs.
