The Mickey Renaud Captain’s Trophy

Question is now, which one of our three captains from this season should we nominate for the award?

ha it won't get to a general this year....

Tavares isn't a captain anymore nor a gen.

Delory sits more games out then in as Captain.

No knocking Parhnam but captaining a team for 12 or so game isn't going to cut it when put up against those who did it all year

I do like the award though nice to see leadership rewarded

I still think we should nominate Tavares. He did alot of work off the ice. It's a shame he won't likely win due to the necessary trade.

Well now he wears the "C" for London so maybe he still gets the award

Anybody who plays for two different teams is obviously at a disadvantage for this. So is anybody who's played in a rotating-captain scenario, even if that was the whole season. There has to be somebody on another team more worthy of this award. That being said, I don't think you can refuse to nominate somebody, can you? Perhaps the players should vote for their nominee. That's probably the best way to go about it.
