Jersey info, help needed

Hoping you guys can help me with this, I recently picked up an old Oshawa alternate jersey:

and it's customised with Nathan Horton's name/number. From what I can find out, Horton's Oshawa career doesn't coincide with the dates these were worn, so does anyone know if he did ever wear that style of jersey? Also can anyone confirm the season for that one? It's manufactured by Nike.

Any help on either question would be gratefully received.

The Years Nathan played for the Gen's was 2001-02 & 2002-03
so the years in ? I do think the blue jersey was being used as a 3rd jersey,As the Gens were sold to a new ownership (John Davies)what I heard the he didn't like the colour of the 3rd jersey and was never been used again.

Source of my confusion is this site, SportsLogos.net, which shows the history of Gens logos and jerseys (alternates at the bottom of the page). That says the blue alt. stopped being used in 2000/01, the season before Horton's time with the Gens started. So I was wondering if someone had had the jersey, and then at a later date put his name on it, or whether that site has the dates wrong?

He did wear # 18 not to sure if yours is a game worn jersey but one way of knowing if it is an game jerseys is doe's it have a tie down on the inside of the jersey(tie down is a lop sewn inside the jersey that prevents the jersey being pulled over in a fight)also does it have any marks on it why you asked I have a game worn jersey and it has marks on it that won't come out in the wash.

It's definitely not a game worn, or game issue for that matter. It's just a replica jersey. Just wondering if, given the style of the jersey, Horton should have been put on it or not?

Yeah, could be. Nothing wrong with that, just like to know, from a jersey collection point of view, whether it's "correct" or not.
