Another "bust" from Whitby? Empty Another "bust" from Whitby?

When the Gens picked up Daniel Pachis I thought that might have been a good move for the price. He was a first round selection and they usually pan out. I think I read somewhere that his G.M. said he lost his confidence in Saginaw which may be the case. He looks like he has skills but doesn't seem aggressive at times. I hope he is not the second coming of another highly rated Whitby product with the initials M.M.! Your thoughts?

He also had a serious knee injury which seems to have stunted his development. Hopefully he works hard and improves but even if he doesn't, all the Generals gave up was a conditional 10th round pick. These sorts of trades are worth it, even if it doesn't work out, you haven't lost anything.

He is a 1991. He may have had his development slowed as beats says. He seems to have decent hands around the net.

You have to make these kind of trades to see if a kid can develop in a different situation. He is far different from MM.

Oh. I had/have no problem with the trade; just commenting on a perceived lack of production for a first rounder. I'd give up a 10th, albeit a conditional, anytime to have a boo at a first. We might still get two good years out of him. I'd forgotten about that knee injury, too!

one way of looking at it , i call it a lateral move , give up nothing , get nothing in return !
