It was announced today that the Gen's affileate for the up and coming season will be the Whitby Fury.

Oshawa Generals Head Coach and General Manager Chris DePiero announced today that Generals and the Whitby Fury of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) have reached an affiliation agreement for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.

The Whitby Fury has a strong legacy dating back to when they were the Oshawa Legionnaires and played alongside the Generals at the Oshawa Civic Auditorium.

“We look forward to being affiliated with a first-class organization like the Fury,” said DePiero. “With General Manager Frank Robinson and Head Coach Curtis Hodgins leading the charge, we feel it will be a great opportunity for our prospects to develop.”

“We are excited to be partnering up with the Oshawa Generals,” said Fury General Manager Frank Robinson. “This is an arrangement that we feel will work out great for both teams especially with both teams playing in Durham region.”

Anyone know what it costs to attend a Fury game, might be neat to go see some of the gens prospects depending on how many prospects play there this season

Maybe they will play on all of our non scheduled Sundays
