Congrats to Thomas on 40 goals! And 41 for good measure.

EDIT: I should've read the previous post to see that was already done but no harm in more congrats on a great season from him. I can't wait to see how many he can get next year. It will be tougher, he'll be a marked man.

Should the Gens score hold, another option that would keep us alive until the final game of the regular season would be for Kingston to come back and tie the Wolves, and then have a Fronts OT or shootout win.

So there is that, a Kingston comeback doesn't all have to be done in regulation to give them the win. It would be nice Very Happy, at least if the Fronts could get that game to OT and then win it there or in a shootout...the Gens would still have a chance at 8th even with Sudbury picking up a single point tonight.

If Sudbury got 1 point, they would go to 57. Gens would go to 55 if they win tonight. Both teams would have 1 game left. After that last game, both teams could have 57 points...Gens could still get a 1 game decider with the Wolves out of that to see who gets 8th.

Kingston has a fresh powerplay to start the 3rd. Good chance to make it 4-3!

I wish I had the action pack, I want to be watching the Fronts game lol.

P.S. in your scenario Oshawa hosts the 1 game playoff.

I wish I had it too archer_gens Laughing, I just hope the online scoresheet on the OHL site is accurate in saying Sudbury got a hooking penalty at the end of the 2nd. Very Happy

Gens don't make the playoffs for a second year in a row.
Time for a coaching change, once and for all.

Regardless of disagreements, this statement makes absolutely no sense. So the Gens need to change ... and if they don't, then they will be changed? Or De Piero needs to change ... or be changed ... which implies that he should stay so he can change?

You're so anxious for snappy one-liners, you aren't even thinking anymore.

The is nothing 'snappy' about the raft of season's ticket subscribers who are questioning their continuing support.

This game ain't cheap and they pay the freight. They are actually the real bosses. There is a huge credibility issue here IMO.

If there is no effort to make the necessary change(s) ... they definately have the ability to change the way business is conducted moving forward!
