Former General update: Loic Lacasse
Loic was a decent although not quite outstanding goalie with the Gens back in 2006-07. Of course, that was a very run-and-gun team that scored and gave up a ton of goals so some days he had little help. I was curious to see whatever happened to him and so I looked it up and he's doing pretty well for himself.
Moved up to the AHL after playing well in the ECHL, in 8 games with Hamilton, he's 6-1, save pct.% is .922 and a GAA of 2.07. He's already playing in his 3rd pro league and his numbers in pro are far better than at any point in his junior career. Counting junior, he's played in FIVE DIFFERENT LEAGUES since 2006-07.
I hope his persistence is rewarded, a great story if he makes it to the NHL.
