Gens need to start playing early and play 60 minutes, plain and simple, two many early season loss's will bite us later.

Thinking of trying out the live stream, anyone have any thoughts?

Was going to give the live stream a try for this one but I see it's not available.

Off to find an Erie radio link. Hope the Gens can get back in the win column! Very Happy

The radio is finally up and running not happy about the ohl stream not carrying it after advertising that they were.

Altshuller vs Teichmen

Mcdowell and Pettaccio are the scratches for Oshawa.

Same here. Doesn't seem to be a 'listen live" link on the 1330 AM site.

Here's a link that works. Feed is smooth.

The US announcers are always like that. As sad as this may sound...I have to turn up the volume to make sure I don't miss whether we scored!!! LOL

Great balanced scoring, slow start, but nice to see Jenner and Jensen having a good night. Lessio had a good game again it sounded like. And our goalie kept us in the game to allow us to win.

Nice to be back in the win column!

Jenner, Lessio and Jensen with 11 points between them. Jensen and Jenner each a +5. Very Happy

PK was the best in the league heading into tonight...it took a bit of a hit but is still very good, giving up 3 on 24 chances in our 4 games so far.

With 10 GA in 4 games, giving up an average of 2-3 goals/game is a welcome change. Very Happy Gens finished the regular season last year ranked 10th in terms of the most goals given up. Hope we continue to see improvement there. Prior to last season, the Gens had been in the bottom 5 in the league for most goals given up. They had that bottom 5 in the league honour 6 years in a row. Shocked

Just checking out other games tonight...the Petes with 33 shots on goal in the 3rd period? (Who has a record book handy?) They lost, but must have been exciting for them to score 3 in the final 1:21 to force OT.

If thomas can get his game going there should be no stopping the forward guns. Who would have though 2-0 on the road and 0-2 at home. It's early and i'd love it if we could have a good road record this year, however erie and kingston are not gonna be the hardest road teams to beat this year.

1 of 3 crumby games down. I dislike the 3 american games every year very much. The only three i miss watching all year. (thanks to pvring).

Weird no Generals on a sunday. Time for some revenge wednesday and keep us perfect on the road!

Made the trip to Erie.
Was great to see Jensen back in the lineup and he definitely made an immediate impact on the ice.
Top line was Jenner, Lessio and Jensen.
Don't think Christian Thomas played a very good game. Seemed like he was out there for a leisurely skate at times. Fanned on shots once again. Hopefully he can break the scoring slump soon.
Altshuller was fantastic in net. Of the 4 goals Erie scored, he should have had just one of them. Seemed the defence left him hung out to dry on the other three.
Great game Gens......now let's keep it together and finally beat those cows in Belleville.

Nope, Thomas started last year getting points in his first 7 games...10 goals and 5 assists. It went (G,A)..(2,0),(1,2),(2,0),(3,0),(0,3),(1,0),(1,0).
