Sarnia Vs Gens Dec 2nd/2011

gens played pretty well tonight i thought and they actually palyed as a team tonight to also i thought christian had a very good game tonight with his 5pts let's beat the petes on sunday Gens Go Gens Go.

Much better game, but bad GAA still. 4 goals on 16 shots is not good, don't remember what the final total was but it wasn't enough to salvage a goo GAA.

The team is finally finding the net however and thats a step in the right direction.

Finally a game where they pressured all night...Nice effort boys!!
Now lets get some goaltending.....please know where your rebounds are going...

Don't want to knock the goaltending because it has been half decent all year, but must say it was great we picked a game to score lots of goals when the goaltending took the night off.

If this team put everything together at the same time, they would be very scary.

Great effort by the boys tonight...hopefully they keep it going against the Petes on Sunday night.
Good to see Gary Roberts taking in the game and signing autographs as well.

First shot on not was a goal on Bailie. Why are we stuck HAVING to win by HOPING we put more pucks into the net then our opponents?

Also, Uvira cheapshots a lot. He needs to be more discliplined.

It was nice seeing us outshoot our oppenent for a change. Shots were roughly 40-30 in our favour.

From where I was sitting (sec 108) it looked like there was something wrong with Bailie's glove hand. He didn't use it much last night. Shots that he would normally catch he deflected with his upper body and when the guys came to celebrate at the end of the game Bailie didn't do two arm hugs with the guys like he has in the past, he kept his glove arm close to his body.

At least he didn't catch the puck with his neck like Maxwell did in the 2nd period.

I think Clarkie invited the wrong guy to dance. Justice Dundas laid on one of the worst thumpings I've seen in a while. Looked like a jackhammer to his chin!

jaycro, he did take a few more shots than giving, but the invitation was from Dundas. As Clarkie came over to centre ice you could see Dundas asking if he wanted to go from in front of where i sit. Won't be the first beating he's taken i'm sure, never seen him fight before and certainly won't be the last, he is somewhat small for that action. There are some big boys playing that role.

If you haven't seen Clark fight before, you wouldn't know that last night wasn't his usual fight outcome. Yes, he's small but I've seen him take on much bigger guys and come out on the winning end. He's a tough kid and a really good fighter. Last night wasn't typical for him.

Can't' disagree with you, i've heard quite a bit about the young fellow and was somewhat surprised,no disrespect to Emerson and Generals fans, but this was not a good outcome, but like most young spirits he'll bounce back and as a season ticket holder i'll be there to watch.

You don't fight to win the fight, you fight to pump your team up. Other times you may need someone to drop em if the opposition starts taking liberties. Clark is fearless when it comes to dropping them. I've seen him get cranked a few times, but not nearly as many times as you would think, given his small size. On the flipside, I've also seen him drop much bigger guys, and when you see something like that, it has to lift your teams spirit.

I'm just glad hes stuck to making good scoring plays, and dropping the gloves, while all but eliminating the dumb dumb plays of the past.

Really liked the hard work that Graves, Uvira and Labardo put in to create the 5th goal. Let's follow up Friday's game with another good effort against the Petes tonight.
