Dogs VS Gens Playoff #2

Well we have a huge game tonight. I am hoping our boys are ready to go.

Who starts in net I wonder? Do you sit anyone and bring in Quinn /Carlilse?

Lots of questions before tonight...yet to be answered.

I hope to see and hear a lot of support for our team, and a sea of RED tonight.

It should be Daniel Altshuller in net, but it will be Kevin Bailie as he is the coaches fav,and I don't think it matters who you bring in will matter.the questions were answered before the series started, that Niagara is a far better team than we are in all departments(defence, offence, goaltending & coaching) . Oh well I'll still support them
win or lose.

where the eff did our offense go to it's non exsitent so far in this series js. maybe Artshuller should stat next bailie has been pretty bad the past 2 games.

The boys came out hitting everybody in the first period and then stopped for the rest of the game. We did take some stupid penalties once again. We had 4 shot on our four powerplay chances in a row and couldn't put the puck in the net. Maybe they should sit and watch and see how Niagara plays the game.
Seems the boys have given up just like the fans have. Seen so many leave from end of secone period to before the game was finished..
That kind of attitute from the boys mean they are out in 4 straight. I don't think they have a hope in hell of winning any games.
The attendance was sorely lacking last night and will probably be less next Wednesday. I guess if the boys don't care; neither should the fans.

I thought the Gens came out ready to play last night and had a good first period. One PP goal and they were still in it. They were a little flat starting the second and Niagara took advantage of a defensive mistake and the puck is in the net.

Niagara showed what a well prepared team can do. They are a very good team.

I was hoping the Gens would win at least a game but it does not seem as if that will happen. Still I will be there Wednesday hoping.

Bad penalties hurt again but once the puck is in the Oshawa net a couple of times a comeback is unlikely. I did not think it was Baiilie's fault as the Dogs just kept coming at him with quality scoring chances. They pounce on every mistake.

Sadly, they'll be able to do that - probably after Wednesday.

I would NEVER boo my team. I thought they had a GREAT first period. Too bad that effort hadn't been evident last weekend. Those 2 losses loom very large now. I think they would have had a decent chance against Ottawa. At least it would have been a much more competitive series.

Oh well, there's always next year.

Fans pay there money and have a right to boo as long as they don't use fowl langauge,and even so chances would of been better vs. Ottawa we would still would have to play Niagara the next round just to have the out come that we are going to be facing Wednesday,and that would be less money going towards my season tickets next season as I bought the 16 game playoff package

I hope not. I think you will see a fresh approach behind the bench and hopefully a team that makes the most of the talent they have. While I may be dreaming it is one of the rights of a fan to hope for better things next year.

This team (right up to ownership) is hugely unacceptable. OHL teams should make the playoffs 4 of 5 years (we don't do that), and to make things worse we trade away so many draft picks time and time again and what do we get in return.

People booing the boys off the ice is a sign of frusteration and as far as im concerned at least I renewed my season ticket. People keep saying the only way to seek change would be to no renew, I feel a building full of booing works as well. Wilson lost his job pretty fast after the ACC started chanting Fire Wilson in unison.

I don't get why as a fan we can't show displeasure. Besides theres so much worse flying around the GMC, from cursing (great for the young kids to hear), to rascist comments, to people threatening out of town fans with violence.

But hey thats just me, and If they get blown out wednesday I will boo the team (and ownership, management) again.

Some people should stop with this booing is awful and help get the point across that the fans are not happy with missing playoffs and or getting swept for what 4 or 5 of the past 7 years!

I understand the fans frustration. And I am frustrated too.

But I for one will never boo my team.
I believe it is the same as rubbing salt in a wound. I am pretty sure the guys know, they are not getting the job done. It would be the same as making a mistake at your job and your vendors/customers coming to your station and booing you. Will it change anything? or just make you feel worse? That is just my opinion. I am not saying fans do not have a right to boo, and I understand why they boo.

I am of the belief...silence speaks volumes.

I won't boo the team either. I might well boo the owner or the coach though. These guys are not professional. They are a bunch of talented kids.

If you are at an NHL game that is a different story.

You might be right and they might understand that the fans are upset. However there are some very hardcore fans that cheer no matter what, and I doubt very much that losing affects there social lives as hockey players/stars to many people are cool no matter whether they won or lost. Booing is a way to get the message across for sure in my mind. Theres definately groupies that are gonna say its all ok no matter what, and you know what it's not and since i can't go up to them at work and say you know what i'm sort of dissapointed with the effort or product (as happens at customer service everywhere) thats all you can do.

and p.s. i have been talked to badly by customers at work, and 99% of the time its for stuff that you didn't do yourself, its life its business but when i was 17,18,19, 20 and working I had to deal with upset and sometimes irrational customers, and on top of that boss's who will take the customers side over yours. So I don't feel bad for them.

Also most of our players will be leaving for school or pro carreers next year, and will be or already our of nhl playing age. So why is it ok to boo an NHL team with rookies on it and not this team.

Your entitled to your opinion but theres alot of people taking cheap shots around the rink at the owners, players and refs, some if it is really personal jabs, to me thats what people should be focusing on and not showing a little displeasure in the form of a boo.
