Kazakhstan/Russia Dec. 21 7pm
Just wondering if anyone is planning on going to this.
Bowl seats were supposed to be $15.50, but I went to pick up a few today and they were $12.25 at the box office.
Anyone have any idea what ticket sales are like?

I'm going. I love watching those Russians. Does anyone here remember '72?
Considering it's only exibition I won't mind missing Canada on T.V. I'd much rather watch live hockey. That's what PVRs are for.
I sit right in front of that door where the glass was smashed out of it the last time they were here for the ATT challenge. I had a bunch of colledge kids from Flemming In Lindsay sitting next to me. They were exstatic. Looking forward to it.
I checked the ticket availability online and could get row 6 in 114. Not a bad seat at all, but nothing beats my seat.
Yes I am biased about where I sit.
Where you sitting Kevy?

I usually sit in 114 Row 7, but there are 5 of us going so we're all sitting in 118 Row 7

Not a bad game. Russia outshot the Kazakh team by a wide margin but the score was kept respectable. It wasn't a dominant performance by the Russians with many of those shots coming from the outside or from the point with the Kazakh goalie getting a pretty clear view. Final score was 4-1 for the Russians. Kind of weird hearing the Russian national anthem at the GMC.
Attendance was around 3000.

Thats too bad, it might have been better if Canada wasn't playing tonight. I would think alot of people would skip this game and watch Canada instead. I hope it (the attendance) doesn't affect future games at the GMC.

I enjoyed the game. I noticed the Kazakhstan goaltender would try to deflect shots high into the safety net. I'm guessing this was to stop play but the faceoff is in your own zone. It's just exhibition so I guess he was just practicing for when he really needed to get out of a situation. I'm assuming the Russians were considered the home team because every time they scored the horn would go off.

Actually Kazakhstan was the home team but nobody told me any protocol so I basically just did what I wanted. I used a different horn for both teams and whoever scored first was gonna get the regular one. There was a big tugboat horn for the Kazakhstan goal.

A tugboat horn. COOL! Any chance you have a Buick horn?
