centre ice

just wondering the story behind the removal of our logo at centre ice of the GMC

my friend was in there and it has been replaced by a non generals logo... which he didn't make out

I'm still wondering why the 70th anniversary logo was never painted onto the ice. Maybe they're waiting for the 75th.
I doubt if our logo was removed. More than likely just covered up. This has been done a few times. Were you there for the Canada Russia game? It looked like a completely different arena but was back to normal for the next Generals game.

thats true..... i just wondered who else plays in the arena thats a big enough name to change the logo... or if it was for comercial/movie/tv reasons

If I get a chance I'll swing by and take a look.

I heard they were filming a commercial in there last week. I play in the adult hockey there and they are taking the ice out in a week or so to put new ice in and paint for the Generals this season.
