This is my first glance at our team this year. We look quite a bit bigger. That kid on D is pretty big!!! (Zupanic) So far, so good. We will see how the next two periods play out.
Is it me or does it look like Brampton has a lot of the players we saw last year playing this game? Wonder if their team is pretty set already.
Just seems we have a lot of newer players compared to them.

4 D-men dressed tonight. One of those 4 being Conor Stokes. McDowell, Zupancic, Sullentrop are the other 3

Re: Gens vs. Battalion 9/15/10
Thanks...that is odd...having Stokes on D? Wonder if that is a strategy for the powerplay????
There was a scary moment there at the end of that period...we almost coughed up a really bad goal.
I just heard the announcer say we can only dress 3 16 year olds. I didn't know that there was a limit for the 16 year olds. This is going to be an interesting cut for the coach.

That penalty shot in the first was a joke. I saw no penalty what soever. Doesn't look like it matters. 7-2 early in the third. See ya Sunday.

7-5 now. The boys on the back end must be dead tired. It appears McDowell left the game after that hit from Goodrow early in the period

Re: Gens vs. Battalion 9/15/10
All in all...not bad. There is a lot of potential here for our future. Couple sloppy weak goals that were let in, but I think the D was tired. It looks like Padulo was playing D at the end of the period too.
I hope that McDowell is not injured badly. That would be hurtful.
This defintely has the making for some good hockey for us fans. Hopefully we find a solution to the netminding. We cannot continue like last year. Build a lead and hold on for dear life...or make a comeback and let soft goals in.

Zador wasn't bad back there at all. Being that shorthanded on the blueline is what killed us. I don't get why Quinn wasn't in the lineup....and is Andrew Wilson even still with the team?
