Re: Schedule 2011-2012
We have three Tuesday games in Peterborough this year.
The Petes were pushing for Tuesday night games and their wish was granted.
Terrible for going to Sudbury and Sault as it is Friday night in Sudbury and Sunday night in Sault. Won't get home until 6 in the morning.

Re: Schedule 2011-2012
Nice to have the home games on New Year's Day and Family Day again. At first glance, it looks like there won't be one of the morning weekday games this season.
A couple of interesting things:
- We will have played Belleville 5 times by the end of November
- We don't see Brampton, Barrie or London until the 2nd half of the season
- In the 2nd half, half of our games (16/31) are against 5 teams: Brampton, Barrie, London, Peterborough or Mississauga
Typically you tend to see more divisional/conference games at the end of the schedule and that's what the Gens have had in the past. This season's schedule is a bit different, in that the Gens don't seem to have as many divisional games at the end of the schedule than they've had in the past. Of the 19 games in February and March, only 7 are against the east division. January seems to be the big month for playing eastern conference opponents.
- In a stretch of 14 games in January/February, we only play our division 3 times
- January 8th to February 20th could be very telling in terms of the season...fingers crossed for a hot streak! In those 18 games, we play our own conference 17 times, including a stretch of 10 in a row against the eastern conference.
