Schedule for 2012-2013
Last year the schedule was out June 10th.
So far nothing this year so I called OHL and was told the schedule will be released next Wednesday June 27.
It will be interestiung to see if the Generals do not play at home on Saturday nights as requested by the team.
As well, how the northern road trip games will be on the schedule.

Re: Schedule for 2012-2013
The overnight trips in case anyone wants to plan:
Sat Dec 8 - in Plymouth
Sun Dec 9 - in Windsor
Fri Jan 25 - in Sudbury
Sat Jan 26 - in SSM
Fri Feb 15 - in Saginaw
Sat Feb 16 - in Sarnia
At first glance, here are some observations:
- Our first 9 are against our own conference
- We play the Petes 5 times before the end of November
- By Nov 11, we'll have played 3 in 3's 4 times (4 of the first 8 weekends are 3 in 3's for us...and then we have only 1 more 3 in 3 the rest of the season)
- By Jan 1, we'll have played 14 games against western conference teams (our 2 games with Kitchener are done by Nov 11, both games with London done by Nov 15, both games with Plymouth done by Dec 8, both games with Owen Sound done by Dec 30, both games with Guelph done by Jan 1)
- From Jan 1 to the end, Gens play 31 games…24 against the eastern conference (we finish the season with 12 in a row against our own conference)
Edited to add...Tweet from Shawn Cayley, re: exhibition games:
#Generals play three ex games this fall outside of Oshawa but within Durham boundaries. Bowmanvlle vs. BEL, Uxbridge vs. BEL, Ajax vs. PTBO.
Edited again...Exhibition games are now on the OHL site:
Mon Sept 3 in Niagara, 2:00
Thu Sept 6 in Peterborough, 7:05
Sat Sept 8 vs Peterborough, 7:00 (in Ajax)
Tue Sept 11 vs Belleville, 7:00 (in Bowmanville)
Fri Sept 14 vs Belleville, 7:30 (in Uxbridge)

Re: Schedule for 2012-2013
Since the first word I could think of isn't allowed.
Thanks to Ownership for taking away yet again. Not even one exhibition game this year at the GMC. Guess I'm taking my money to Peterborough again.
On the bright side free parking at the parking garage for STH's .... o wait, i was already parking free on the street!

Since when is it free? I though we get a "discount" at the garage?

LX- Jason sent an email out to all the people on his season ticket holder "list" that states we have new perks - discount at concession stand once a month and free parking down town for all generals home games.

EX-SCHEDULE
13. Mon., Sept. 3 Oshawa at Niagara, 2:00
18. Thur, Sept. 6 Oshawa at Peterborough, 7:05
28. Sat., Sept. 8 Peterborough vs. Oshawa, 7:00 (Ajax)
37. Tues., Sept. 11 Belleville vs. Oshawa, 7:00 (Bowmanville)
41. Fri., Sept. 14 Oshawa vs. Belleville, 7:30 (Uxbridge)
As a previous poster mentioned, I see there is no ex-games at home. Both "home" games are in Bowmanville and Ajax. Wonder if those games will be like in the past where you are required to obtain and pay for your own games--even thought they say that ex-games are included with your STH package! Thats one thing that burns by butt, don't list it as a perk, if it's not going to happen. The game in Uxbridge is considered an away game so I would understand that you would have to pay for that one.

Re: Schedule for 2012-2013
The City of Oshawa announced that all GMC season ticket holders, including the Power, Machine and Turfdogs will receive free parking. They are hoping this encourages spending at the GMC.
