Great News for the Generals!

With Valentine and De Haan both playing AHL games alrdy, this probably finalizes are roster for at least the next few weeks. That being said it will be wait and see until the deadline, or until we bring in an OA thus deleteing rights of other OA's.

Note to self...Gens_Fan_22 will be handy to have around. Someone well connected, first with Altshuller not making the road trip and now Andreoff returning!

We sure need andy back , great news , this should give us two solid lines , hope the coach puts the line back together , andreoff , Jensen , lessio , .."..then I would try Jenner , Thomas , with uvira "........

Glad to hear Andy is coming back. Valentine has officially signed an ELC with Nashville. But this of course does not mean he won't be returning to the Generals.

I still haven't seen this announced by LA/manchester/generals...............

Scott Valentine made his AHL debut with the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday while Andy Andreoff was not on the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs opening night roster but his status for the season remains up in the air, but should become more clear within the next week.

I'd say he's not back:(

Andy may have been a scratch but he was at todays game. Saw him sitting upstairs with our other scratches.

Heard he was just home for a few days- they were working out his contract and he still didn't know if he was staying there or coming back here

Another body in front of Andy Andreoff in Manchester. He's better off signing an entry level deal with the Kings and playing the rest of the year with Oshawa.

That should put Manchester with 16 forwards I believe. You would think it would seem pointless to carry all 16. Lets all cross our fingers that this enough for them to send him back. I feel bad for him because I think we are all going to put a ton of pressure on him to be the "savour" if he returns.

I heard at one point that this should be figured out by the end of the week.

Andy will be in the lineup on Saturday night against Ottawa according the to Gens website. I guess I was right to say that he would be back 5forfighting even if he wasn't in the lineup last Monday

Saturday night is his home debut. He will be in the lineup on Friday night in Mississauga.

I went back and read my posts and not once did I say you were wrong. I said I had not saw it comfirmed by the Generals or Monarchs that he had been sent back as I was waiting for an offical statement. The only other thing was when he was listed as scratch due to still being with Manchester I said didn't look like he'd be back (meaning for mondays game).

On the topic of Andreoff...I was chatting with a fellow Gens fan + season ticket holder last night at the Moncton Coliseum at the Wildcats game. Was quite the surprise when we pulled into the parking lot and seeing a Red Gens sweater with Andreoff on the back.

As for Valentine he tweeted last night that he was moving into an apartment with Ryan Ellis.
