Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the streets
The fans were discouraged
At the Gens season defeat

The team was suppose to be outstanding
But this wasn’t the case
The fans were all upset
The team was a disgrace

Stars, they are plentiful
But they play by themselves
No one could help them
Not even the elves

To trade or not to trade
That is the question
I don’t have the answer
Do you have a suggestion?

Leave the team as it is
And let it play out
Or trade them away
For players to scout

The draft is a crap shoot
You can never be sure
Just pick some great players
And hope for a cure

Just hope they do the right thing
Put this team back on top
Its been a long time
Disgrace has to stop

Now Lets go Gens
Lets get it done
The future upon us
Let get back to fun
