Second Round of Cuts
Just a note this is not official, however the paper says we are down to 28 players in camp.
I believe these are who remain.
Urbanic
Dennis
Lloyd
Latour
Hore
Hughes
Cassels
Alonzi
Sabourin
Clark
DalColle
Biggs
Jenner
Lessio
Labardo
Uvira
Laughton
Brown
Petschenig
Carlisle
Sullentrop
Hamilton
Petgrave
Schemitsch
Hore
Altshuller
Appleby
Tugwell
This would mean if correct that the following players have been cut.
Washkurak
Lavigne
Bain
Holmes
Brubacher
Brubacher
Mcguire
Burns
Bastien
Nistopoulos
Mcdade
Dennis
Brooks
Cusan
Spidalieri
It might also be of note that after the Gens cut a goalie and two OA's that the Generals will already be down to 25 players. In the past I believe the Gens have kept a roster of up to 24, however NHL teams carry 23 so i'm not positive how many we can or will carry. But other then the battle for OA spots and the battle of the back ups the team seams to be pretty set barring a trade.

Re: Second Round of Cuts
If anyone can correct me on any of this please let me know, like I said it's unofficial and I was trying to figure out exactly who is left in camp.

Re: Second Round of Cuts
Well if thats the case they might as well just cut all 3 of them, and then at the deadline pick someone up if Thomas doesn't return.

Re: Second Round of Cuts
I think Mitch Brooks is still in the mix, just has a injuried shoulder. I hope thats the case, he looked awesome....my biggiest surprise of camp.

Re: Second Round of Cuts
Well if that's the case then one of the other players isn't in the mix that I listed. But it's possible. Especially if the cut down to 28 was after the first game because it sounds like Tugwell has been or will be let go.

Re: Second Round of Cuts
Brian McNair has an article that states:
"With Boone Jenner, Scott Laughton, Lucas Lessio, Biggs, Cole Cassels, Sebastien Uvira, Michael Dal Colle, Adam Lloyd, John Urbanic and one overage expected to be safe bets to make the team, Brian Hughes, Matthew Hore, Bradley Latour, Jared Dennis and Stefano Alonzi are left fighting for the rest of the playing time.
On defence, it looks like Petgrave, Schemitsch, Colin Suellentrop, Josh Brown, Chris Carlisle and Will Petschenig will be the top six, leaving Tyler Hore, Pat Hamilton and Jonathan Lavigne battling for the seventh spot.
And in goal, Daniel Altshuller will be backed up by Ken Appleby."
