Yes it was last season can't remember what for.I can't really see were he fits in for the Gen's this season.

I believe it was for some sort of thuggery in the last game of the season in Peterborough. He can return Oct. 1.

He will return. With the suspensions coming down from tonight....they will need his body in the lineup. And I for one will be glad to see him.

suspensions? i wonder why there would be suspensions, things didnt get too nasty to warrant suspensions, didnt the game misconducts just get the players off the ice to restore order and control for the refs sake?

Clarke is absolutely useless. All he does it take up space...

You don't think a game with 31 fighting majors will result in suspensions?

It looked from a distance like players were fighting in the penalty box although it was kind of far from my vantage point. Not to mention, a couple of those unsportsmanlike penalties were actually fights too!

well there were lots of fights, you re right, but i dont think any generals were acting out of line tonight

Well true there isn't anything that would be worth a long suspension, no match penalties, but I think we'll see a couple of small two-gamers to the players who picked up two fighting majors during the same stoppage.

Clark is on a team with more then 23 players. So is every othet gen. No one has made the team yet. We need to make trades or cuts. Thats not clark bashing by the way. I like him, however i dont know if he fits, that said i have no issue with giving him games to prove people right or wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if last nights game is not sent for review to Mr Branch and the review board. They will look to send a messege. I agree, there proabably won't be siginificant suspensions, but a line brawl usually brings attention to the game and most likely will get something .

The way this team has increased their speed this season, I think we have probably seen the last of Clarke. He definitely can't keep up with these guys.
Who needs him for the fighting. We proved last night that we don't need him for that.

You only have so many player cards per year - not sure he will fit in

i agree, give him a few games and then lets see, last week we were all lookin for a new goalie, but everyone seems pleased with zador now that the season has started on such a positive note

Okay - who do you cut from last nights roster - in order to give Clark a shot

We had 6 undressed or hurt players - 2 are Whitby players - 1 is overager Brown - who will he take off the roster

I didn't see anyone (forwards) who were not capable of playing on this team - only 2 games in -

We are in a position that we have not been in for years - usually it's us picking up other teams non achievers for picks - now it's us - even though Clarke is tough - if his skill level and discipline level is rated lower than anyone else on the team - what do you do?

Ask Padulo -Esposto - Stokes - Alcock if they thought they would not be a Gen - Clark could fall into that numbers game

i agree with your post but we have only won 2 games so far, and yes we looked very good last night, but this roster will change, we have a long season ahead of us and we still need to see how we match up against other opponents other than the petes, i would like to see how we do against mississauga or other elite ohl teams before i judge how good we are
