Fridays game will be the first game that the Gen's dress a full line up(no injuries in practice) Friday game against Gulph here is a Quote from Oshawa paper:

Jenner suffered an upper body injury last Thursday during the Super Series game in Ottawa, while Labardo has been out since Nov. 4.However, those two, along with Christian Thomas, who has finished his 10-game suspension, are in line to return Friday in Guelph.

Don't see why you would say Hughes - maybe this is the coaches chance to sit some of the real under-performers on this team - everytime Hughes hits the ice he plays at 100% - don't think you can say that about the more highly talented ones.

It won't be Carlisle. Gotta say that I've been impressed with Carlisle the last couple weeks. He's getting more and more comfortable out there. Brown is still trying to find his feet. People probably don't realize this but Carlisle has the best +/- on the team right now at a +9.

Agreed to me Carlise is in my top 4 as of now

Brown has played very well as of late - Jensen has picked it up

I think that is going to be a hard decision.

Clark-Hughes-Cassels line, have played some good hockey the last few games.

But the odds are one of the young rookies are going to sit. So you have Uvira, Brown, Hughes, Cassels, Carlisle. It will be one of them. They have been playing well, it is too bad...

I would have thought that if a Defenseman has to sit, it will be Josh Brown, as ideally I would have thought you want the balance of 3 Right and 3 Left on D - Chris Carlisle brings that over Brown (Carlisle is the 3rd L and Brown is the 4th R)

As far as forwards go, isn't it horses for courses - depends on the game - and who matches up best - We've seen Emerson sit in the past when he is not 'needed', but his game is evolved and not so easy to do that now.

What ever happens - the full line up (finally) will allow the new coach to mix and match as required.

hughes and Cassels will should sit in my opinion

no way you sit emerson , he's key , and he's getting the odd big goal . i don't think labardo is going to get the ice time he got with dipiero ., going to be interesting !

You forget Labardo is good on faceoffs and is a good penalty killer

You really can't sit Cassels, bad karma to sit first rounders. You want to be known as an organization that looks after your first round picks, makes it more likely players report. We have depth players that can sit or we can make trades to open up spots.

Someone will play themself on or off this team by the trade deadline as we are short 1 over age spot - with no Valentine.

Was told they are keeping that spot open for Valentine but will have to see if in fact that that is true.
Quinn was out last Sunday with an upper body injury.....he might or might not be back for Friday night.
To me it looks like they are showcasing Cassells and Petacchio...they have been out second unit on powerplay.......mu gut tells me that these two are on the trading block but again will have to see and what if anything happens.

didn't know Quinn got injured Saturday,I thought he got to be in his street attire because of the great pass he made to the Ottawa player,he never played a shift after that

Cassells will not be on the trading block and Petaacchio is now getting more playing time as he has improved

Time will tell Gens Camper.....they are showcasing both of these boys for a reason.

Sitting 'entitled' first rounders sends a great message to the non 'poster boys!' Trading one or two is even better. Agnew has got a great chance to 'even the playing field.' It has been years since ice has been earned!
