I don't know if I'd attempt that with traffic unless you're willing to take the 407.

Re: gens @ storm oct 23rd
Want to know when Matt Kennedy and Peter Holland will be back in the Guelph Storm lineup? So do they.
Neither forward will be in the lineup tonight when the Oshawa Generals visit the Sleeman Centre. In fact neither one knows when they will be back.
“It’s so frustrating,” Holland said at practice yesterday after confirming he wouldn’t be playing Friday.
“I’m just trying to get better and heal up,” said Kennedy at rinkside.
Holland, who has a shoulder sprain, did practice Thursday, albeit while wearing the yellow “no-contact” jersey. Kennedy’s groin injury has kept him off the ice for more than a week.
Kennedy’s injury that is the more serious of the two.
“I tried to skate last weekend but I wasn’t even close to being ready,” the Storm captain said. “There hasn’t been a whole lot of improvement this week.”
The problem is a groin strain that hurts when he tries to skate. The pain shoots up the upper leg and into the lower abdomen. He said it “crept up” on him, perhaps through overuse.
“I’ve talked to a couple of doctors about it. I have to get some special testing to figure out what the problem is,” Kennedy said.
He doesn’t want it to become the type of nagging problem that could follow him around all season.
“Our focus is to get the leg back to normal and make sure I’m not going to injure it again.”
Storm coach Jason Brooks said Holland’s sore shoulder is more of a day-to-day thing and will depend on when Holland can handle the pain involved.
“He can pass and shoot the puck just fine, it’s the physical part of the game that he can’t tolerate right now,” Brooks said.
The injuries come at a very inopportune time. Friday’s game against Oshawa kicks off the team’s first three-games-in-three-nights weekend. It plays six games over the next 10 days.
“You can’t control injuries,” said Brooks.
“This will sure be an eye opener for our younger guys. That’s why we’ve worked on simplifying our game: it’s not so much what you do, it’s how you do it.”
The injuries have also meant plenty of line juggling. Yesterday’s lines at practice had Michael Latta centering Taylor Beck and Francis Menard, Cody McNaughton between Tyler Carroll and Zack Mitchell and Matt Sisca sandwiched by Conor O’Donnell and J.P. Labardo. The fourth line had Connor Tresham, Carter Sandlak and Vadim Guskov on it.
“It’s tricky,” Brooks said of the line juggling. “But I’ll give the kids credit. They battle and they play hard no matter what line they’re on.”
Saturday Guelph is in London. Sunday afternoon Owen Sound visits the Royal City.
Cody St. Jacques gets the start in goal Friday.

Re: gens @ storm oct 23rd
Sounds Like Good news to me just checking stats
Holland has 3 goals and 5 assists in 7 games (5th in scoring for Guelph) while Kennedy has 7 goals and 4 assists in 8 games (good for second in scoring on Guelph)
hopefully we can keep putting the puck in the net, cause Guelph should be hurting up front

Re: gens @ storm oct 23rd
How is that not a goal? The tv guys agreed it should be a goal. There was a high stick by Oshawa but then Guelph clearly touches the puck before we put it in the net. Who is looking at these goals? At the very least it should have been an OT game. Oh well Guelph didn't look that great to me. Lets take Sarnia out this weekend and start another streak.

Re: gens @ storm oct 23rd
I managed to make it to Guelph in time to watch the game. I left Yonge and Bloor in downtown Toronto at 5pm and made it to the arena about 7:15pm. Our boys came out a bit flat to start, and Zador played well to hold us in the game. Aside from that we played a conservative road game, making few mistakes. If we keep that up, and come out the gate with a bit more speed, we will have a good road team this season.
