Gens at Storm Nov. 18,2011

Jenner and Quinn both with upper body injuries were scratches as well as Sabastian Uvira.
Thought the boys were completely outplayed in the first period....they looked very sluggish at times.
The effort in the second and third was much better but they couldn't come back from the 3-0 deficit from the first period.
They did get some good goals to make it close but in the end couldn't get the win.
Time to regroup for Kingston Saturday night and get revenge for that 7-0 game last Friday.

Last night was frustrating. Turns out we were just what a struggling Storm team needed.

The effort in the 2nd period had to be better. It couldn't have gone much further down from the awful 1st period. I think the Rogers TV count of scoring chances in the 1st was around 21-4 for Guelph.

The Storm had won 3 of their last 10 and hadn't won in 4 games...seemed like a great time to be playing them. Too bad the effort and execution were so poor to start the game.
