Whats up,why GENS so silent on TRADE FRONT!!!

So while I'm talking to myself, here, why do we trade Melchiori for a 5th and pay two 4ths to get him back for three months? Tomorrow he could have been had by someone for nada as Spott had to dump an overager. Not sure how it's determined who gets first dibs/ dips?

Just out of curiousity Bobby Orr Number 4, where do you obtain this kind of info if it's not "public information"? Not questionning your info, but is there an online source for this kind of data? Or, do you just know someone (who knows someone)?

What other overager are they going to get rid of?
And that will be the Achilles heal for the Gennies from here forward. I hate mentioning names here but every team in the league salivates playing the Gennies with Maggio on def and yet the coaching staff on this team insist on playing him over 30 min a game. C'mon man.
This organization makes it very difficult to stay a fan.

I'm sure Valentine is of the list and an earlier post said Hermangildo was placed on waivers so were now down to 3 oa's

Tv broadcast yesterday said we were not finished, also has to be more deals look at the number of dmen, doesn't make sense to sit calisle and brown the rest of the year

Interesting to note on the HF Board in the Kitchener thread that their supporters generally feel they were " hosed/taken" in the deal for Melchiori. Most feel they should have received at least two 2nds when you compare to the D'Orazio deal last year which brought three 2nds! They think Melchiori is better and some think he is top two calibre. Nice to see the tables turned sometimes! Hopefully we have 'stabilized' our defence but it will reduce substantially the playing time of youngsters like Brown and Carlisle. Maybe there is more to come?

Browns not ready yet anyhow , he can work on things and bulk up , the gens will now be able to make a run with a very solid defense .

I don't see where Quinn will fit in either , I would keep Carlisle around for the experience , Quinn won't be here next year anyhow

Restores my faith as a long time season ticket holder, even if it doesn't translate into a winning season at least they tried , I respect that and am appreciative , let's face it we the fans have been getting weary of losing seasons , it's nice , we have something to get excited about
