Generals Vs Niagara Pre Season Game #2

Was anyone able to take in the game, or have any comments. Interested to hear what people thought.

I see from the game report Latour had another goal and assist. Harding also with a goal and an assist, as well as Joe Manchurek with a goal and an assist. Appleby started in goal and played the full 60 minutes stopping 28 of 31 shots.

It would be nice if the Generals site could add just a little more details for the fans. Its starting to get really frustrating. Every other OHL team has been releasing training camp cuts, as well as rosters for pre seasons games. Where as the only training camp cut info I've got from this site and I believe the poster said he got the information 2nd hand from a friend. Not only is it a lake of information its timing as well, it usually takes the Generals 2 to 3 days to update there site.

not an articale about the gens players games or team in general, the only thing I saw was they mention the whitby,Pickering,ajax ex games:x 

They should probably mention that the Whitby game is basically sold out, as its only a 2000 seat arena max and the majority of tickets where pre sold to Whitby minor hockey players. The Ajax arena probably cannot even hold a 1000 and the Pickering arena is max 1500 capacity. People are going to show up to these games 15 minutes before an be told there sold out.
Information is very important, and there are numerous ways to get the information out. Its pathetic, and people wonder why the GM center is basically empty the majority of the time

Whitby Iroquois SEATS 2500 + standing room .... Brooklin Redmen Mann Cup days have seen attendance over 3000.

I apologize it was more of an educated guess. However the informadurham website say's it holds 1,500 plus 500 standing room. So I mean I wasn't far off. But my point was more someone within the organization should mention that the 3 exhibition games being played throughout durham region all have limited seating space. And if fans want to assure themselves tickets they should arrive early. Its basic information.

I took in the Niagara game with my son, and the Gennies played well. I'm sure I am going to get some flack for this but with the added ice time Hunter Smith seems to be coming along well. He made some nice plays. Still going to be tough to find consistant scoring I think but overall we were looking pretty good. Vande Somple is playing really well on the blueline for a youngster. I couldn't agree more about the lack of communication from the Gens. The facebook, is rarely updated, whomever is looking after the twitter account is so far behind what is happening, and doesn't have any information that is already available from other sources. I get very frustrated as I follow all the teams in the league on twitter and we are near the bottom as far as updates go. I hope they do something about it.
