The Petes have released Jason Missaien (sp)

Never thought that he was the greatest, but he is better than our current tandem. OA, but at least he can stop a few pucks.

Roster Taking Shape - Page 3 Empty Can someone explain why Stokes is still around?

Post by Peter_Puck Wed Sep 22, 2010 8:36 pm

In the past Stokes showed promise but after his hit from Kassian he never seemed to rebound. Is he supposed to be a back up Defensive player. He seems to be the last of the old generals to be shown the door. Is he tradeable perhaps. So what do you think?

Well if he is free why not try him out, ya it will piss of bailie, so cut him. If missaen doesnt work find a backup goalie as good as bailie.

Sarnia releases both there goalies? Best time to get a goalie is when there are lots available.

Just noticed that on the noof. If there are goalies available. I think we should act on one. I don't are if they bomb, if they are easily available least it can do is put pressure on our current tandem. I really think Bailie needs a new team / change of scenery.

Scott Valentine is on his way back to Oshawa after being released from his nhl team.
Think he had a great camp and look forward to him growing his defensive skills this season.

Hem is not listed on Anaheim's roster on the forecaster.ca/thestar so I think he's gone!He was at Anaheim's camp wasn't he?

So Our Current Roster

Payne
Berger
Pettaccio
Labardo
Andreoff
Jensen
Brown
Laughton
Jenner
Sabourin
Thomas
Clark
Graves
Lessio

Brown and Thomas won't play I assume, so we know who are starting 12 are tonight.

Valentine
Wilson
Mcdowell
Dehart
Zupanic
Dehaan
Sullentrop
Quinn
Hope

Hope and Dehaan won't play I assume, Valentines a possibility, although maybe you sit him, let him get his legs back, and then you can figure out who will be your 7th defencemen.

Zador
Bailie

I could see either starting tonight, although Bailie is more likely to play tonight then tomorrow night (if at all) in my opinion.

Emerson Clark cannot play until Oct.1 according to OHL for 2 game suspension that was from a game last March. I am very pleased with the moves the GM has made. As I stated previously, Stokes needed to be traded if possible, this is good for both the GENS and him. Perhaps Kingston will kick start Connor. Very Happy
