Rumour about Generals ownership

Heard on weekend that 40% of generals available in purchase and three individuals were looking into this very seriously but Rocco pulled out when he didn't agree with a stipulation in contract. The three individuals are Eric Lindros, michael Delzotto and James Neal .

From what I heard he has a deal to buy the Spits on the table (part of them) and can't unless he sells the Generals.

Expect the team to be sold regardless of whether it is this potential group or not.

Rocco can't leave town soon enough as far as I'm concerned , would be nice to get local ownership who gives a shit about building a real team here.

Looking at the prospects rosters , red and white teams , two first round pics and one second , the rest long shots , our future sucks ., again

The Gens are(were) a franchise hockey team, as for the last 10 -12 years this team is a soap opera  

I did hear rumblings that a group of NHL players with ties to the team where interested in buying the club. However I didn't quite think there was much relevance to it at the time.

If Lindros, Neal & Del Zotto buy the team, great. Everyone would be happy to see Rocco leave. But the fact that we lost our GM over a spat with the owner, an now he's leaving. That irritates me even more. This is really becoming a soap opera, I'm still hopeful the on ice product will be able to salvage us some respect.
